About the Argyle Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association
The Argyle Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association is a not-for-profit, all volunteer organization of trained Argyle Citizens who support the Argyle Police Department. The purpose of the organization is to bring together graduates of the Argyle Citizen Police Academy to enhance the relationship between the Alumni Association, the community and the Argyle Police Department.
The ACPAAA members volunteer many hours annually in service to the Argyle Police Department. Through fund-raising activities the ACPAAA provides the police department with equipment which is not budgeted but makes the police officer’s job more effective.
The ACPAAA provides food for officers during the holidays.
The Alumni meetings are held on the last Wednesday of each month of the quarter at the Argyle Police Department and are open only to members.
